Zend PHP Certifications

Zend certifications have become an industry-wide standard and a measure of distinction that employers use to evaluate prospective employees. Stand out from the crowd by getting certified on PHP.

The goal of the Zend PHP Certification program is to allow PHP professionals to attain the “Zend Certified Engineer” designation. This is identical in concept to other well know certification programs such as “Microsoft’s Certified Professionals (MCP)” and the “Sun Certified Java Programmer (CSJP)” programs.

The Zend PHP Certification program aims at creating a measure of distinction that employers can use to evaluate prospective employees. Becoming a Zend Certified Engineer will not make you a better programmer, however, it will most likely improve the chances of your resume standing out from among other applicants competing for the same position.

Setting the Industry Standard for PHP Certifications

Sponsored by Zend and developed according to American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards, Zend Certification programs are designed to test a candidate’s level of knowledge in PHP without prejudice to other technologies. The tests use a set of testing questions that reflect real-world scenarios, including knowledge in many areas ranging from basics to the more complex topics. The certification exam is executed for Zend by Pearson Vue.

The exams are created by an Advisory Board made up of thought leaders in the PHP community. Because the exams are created with specific skills, knowledge and competencies that are matched to real-world job functions, Zend Certifications provide a measure of technical distinction that employers use to evaluate prospective employees.

Become a Zend Certified Engineer

Certify your PHP expertise by becoming a Zend Certified Engineer (ZCE) in just a couple of easy steps:

1. Register for the Test Prep: Zend PHP 5 Certification Training Course through the Enterprise PHP Center, where you can take the courses via our e-Learning program or classroom facilities in locations nearest to you.
    

   This Test Prep: Zend PHP 5 Certification course prepares experienced PHP programmers for the challenge of passing the PHP 5 certification exam and achieving the status of Zend Certified Engineer (ZCE).

   This is a test preparation and PHP review course – it does not teach PHP. The content discusses important information about the exam itself and strategies for answering the exam questions, in addition to providing an in-depth review of the twelve certification topic areas. Participants are continually challenged to test their knowledge with focused quizzes. The course moves at a fast pace, and assumes at least an intermediate skill level in programming within PHP.

2. Schedule to take the exam at one of 3500+ Pearson VUE testing centers.
 
3. Take your step further by Studying for the exam using the Zend PHP Certification Study Guide, Zend PHP 5 Certification Online Practice Test.
 
4. Pass the exam! Your name and credentials will be published in the Yellow Pages for PHP Professionals. Download the ZCE Logo and add it to your resume or link it to your ZCE authentication page from your website.
